A chocolate brownie is always a choice that’s picked up when coming to desserts. Be it a sizzling brownie or a brownie with a dash of chocolate syrup and ice cream; its always mouth-watering!!!
Cooking Time – 30 minutes | Preparation Time – 30 minutes | Serves – 3-4
Things Required
Sugar – 1 cup
Maida (All purpose flour) -3/4 cup
Unsalted butter – 50 gm
Salt – a pinch
Baking powder – 2 teaspoon
Cocoa powder – 1/3 cup
Vanilla essence – 1 tablespoon
Yogurt (Curd) – 1/2 cup
Chocolate chips – 100 gm
Chopped dry fruits (Raisins, walnuts, Cashews, Badam, Hazelnuts) -100 gm
1. Melt the butter and once cooled add yogurt and vanilla extract.
2. Mix maida, sugar, salt & baking powder in another bowl.
3. Meanwhile preheat the oven for 180℃ for 10 minutes.
4. Grease the baking tray with butter and line it up with butter/parchment paper to ensure the brownie doesn’t stick to the edges.
5. Add flour mixture to the butter batter and mix well. Mix well with chocolate chips & chopped dry nuts.
6. Pour the batter into baking tray and cook in the pre heated oven for 30-35 mins. Check using a knife or toothpick if the brownie is cooked well.
7. Once cooled, slice into pieces. Can be served with a scoop of ice cream or chocolate sauce and nuts or just dusted with icing sugar. Your yummy yum hot brownie is ready to be served!!!😊
